'Labourer's Love', the earliest surviving complete film from China's cinematic history. Composed and performed live by Blue Grassy Knoll, was commissioned for the Australian Theatre Festival in China in 2007, and performed in Shanghai and Beijing, as well as at the World Expo in Shanghai in September 2010.

Brisbane Festival | 15th - 16th September 2011
In a show for all ages, Blue Grassy Knoll will bring Keaton’s 1927 movie, The General, to life at QUT Festival Theatre. Watching the film along with the audience, musicians Simon Barfoot, Gus Macmillan, Steph O’Hara, Philip McLeod and Mark Elton sit facing the movie screen, playing their own soundtrack and sound-effects using the film for their cues.

Regional Victorian Tour | August - September 2011
Blue Grassy Knoll are very pleased to be taking their score to Buster Keaton's masterpiece The General on tour between August and September around regional Victoria. This show first premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival last year, this film is one of the band's finest scores and they are thrilled to bring it to 15 regional centres across Victoria.
